WAB is offering both C- and D-pace Surry Ice Cream Rides on July 4. The rides start at 9:30 a.m. at the Surry County Government Offices just south of downtown Surry. Please catch the appropriate Jamestown Ferry to make it to the starting location on time.
Because it’s July 4th, we suggest you arrive at 8:10 a.m. for the 8:30 ferry. That will give you the option of catching the 8:10 ferry but also assure you won’t get shut out of the 8:30 ferry. Contact John Hinton at (973) 985-7024 if you do miss the 8:30 ferry.
If possible, please wear something that is red, white, and blue to celebrate July 4th, Independence Day.
There will be an option for lunch at the Surry Seafood House following the ride.
